Sites you use

Hi everyone,

I am just curious how many sites others use to write articles on. I use a few I write on regularly but have accounts on probably 20.

How about how many articles you have posted across the internet? I have a few hundred. Probably a small number for making decent money.

I am asking just out of curiosity and also to see how friendly users are on this website :)

Right now, Seekyt is where I have the most articles. Over 240. I think I have about 75 on InfoBarrel, 35 on Xomba, 25 on Wizzley, 16 on TopicSpotter, 13 on Bukisa, 2 Squidoo lenses and 1 measly article on Posturown,

HI LPerry,
That's quite a few articles you have. Very comparable to what I have and spread out similarily.

I am starting to think it might be a good idea to focus on one site at a time until a person is making a steady income regardless of how small. Just as long as a steady stream of money is being made. Then moving on to another site and so on and so on.

Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Hi, I have 6 on TopicSpotter so far, 14 on Seekyt, 96 on Hubpages, 7 on Wizzley, 34 on Infobarrel, and 358 on Bright Hub. Hope this is helpful! I do agree with GrantsWorld that it may make sense to focus on one main site that is a moneymaker and use the others as backlink portals. I'm keeping a close eye on Adsense numbers to decide where to place articles for the best monetary advantage.

Excellent info Donna.
I have never heard of Bright Hub before. Is it similar to HubPages?

I am all over too! I hit 400 this week and am at 410 total now. I did 22 on Hubpages first nearly a year ago, now have about 80 on Infobarrel on 2 accounts, about 70 on Seekyt, 185 on Squidoo on 2 accounts and 51 on Wizzley 2 accounts, 2 on Topic Spotter. And one on Ezines. Only did one there. I realized I want every article to earn it's keep, not be fluff for back links, I figure if I am going to write it, it can earn money!

I write on all the sites all the time, mostly Squidoo, IB and Seekyt, it stops me getting bored and helps diversify and some articles fit some places better than others. I wrote a 2 part article on Infobarrel on how and what works best on those sites in my experience. Squidoo is the best earner per article by far Seekyt is quite good too. It seems to be the next best for Adsense and Amazon so far.

I'd love to hear more about Bright Hub.

Hi, i have 7 articles on Triond, 1 article on Hubpages, 2 articles on Redgage for now but hope to increase my article portfolio as time goes on.

Hi everyone, please don't get too excited about Bright Hub...I only listed it because I have such a large portfolio there. In its day, it was a wonderful place to write and paid both upfront and rev share. However, in December last year, they let all of us writers go and stopped paying any revenue share. The articles are still a good way to promote myself and my work, but I earn z-e-r-o for the time and work invested :(

Seekyt and TopicSpotter are my big earners right now, and if you follow the link building program Tyler has in place, you'll do well. My Adsense is skyrocketing with only a few articles in place.

Like Skeffling I bounce around to stay engaged. I find that I like to write different kinds of articles on different sites. I've exceeded 100 on a few sites including Seekyt and InfoBarrel and like them both. Right now I'm adding slowly to these while I diversify a bit and work a few personal sites and I'm also slowing adding to HubPages, Wizzley, Bukisa, Xomba and TopicSpotter. I actually wrote some short notes about some of these sites in my profile and I can recommend them all, but I use them for different purposes.

If there is one thing that sets TopicSpotter and Seekyt apart it's the Admin. Anyone who reads this that is not already a member of Seekyt should join now and diversity there as well IMO.

That's Some really good info everyone. I like that everyone is so diversified.

Anyone else want to share their sites they have posted articles on?
