Confusing Ads On My Article

Journal: LPerry RSS

I am really happy that an article I wrote here about Cheap Chocolate Diamond Engagement Rings is one page one of Google (yay!) for the same search phrase and page 2 for the search Cheap Chocolate Diamonds.

The not-so-great thing is the Adsense ads....Cocovia, Godiva and Hershey chocolate ads mixed with Tiffany Jewelers.

I wonder how I could tweak it to make all the ads relevant like the ones I see on the Google search results along the right side of the screen?

None of them mention chocolate candy.

It depends on who is looking at the article, when the page is loaded, what the visitor has been looking at before your article, etc.

When I searched for the phrase and then loaded your article, I saw all three large ads were for diamond rings, as was the text link. When I refreshed the page, I saw mostly diamond ads, with one of the links on the large ad for Godiva chocolate. Finally, I refreshed a third time and saw a "Cocovia" ad along with 2 diamond ads.

Eventually, once Google knows which ads are making you the most money on that page, they will display more relevant ads. Unfortunately, this journal entry right now has nothing but diamond ads, even though you have explicitly mentioned Godiva, Hershey and Cocovia - which means you probably won't be able to tweak your article is a meaningful way.

Sooner or later the ads will be as relevant as possible.

Thanks Admin. Maybe I will get lucky and get a reader that is craving some chocolate after shopping for diamonds online :)
